the Wellbeing of our Mother Earth and the Sustainability of Life.

A new virus has appeared on our planet - the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2, and it has caused the widespread of the Coronavirus Disease(Covid-19). It is testing humankind's values, our perspective of the ecosystem, and our love and care for other lives. We have collected a series of spiritual reflections on the Covid-19, in hopes that it will also awaken your Love for Mother Earth, to Return to Spirituality, and to Love All Lives.

In this video, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche shares his views on the covid-19 outbreak and teaches us ways to overcome our fear, anxiety and panic.

In view of this situation, many people suffer from fear, panic and anxiety. Rinpoche tells us that the most important thing is our mindset; how we think about this.

He shares with us that from a meditator’s point of view,  whatever we are facing in our lives - if we try to take it as a learning opportunity and a way to grow, and we try to transform these fears and anxiety into support for our meditation, or our practice - that is a really great opportunity.

Rinpoche goes on to remind us that everybody has wisdom, love and compassion, awareness and skills; all these are within all of us. He tells us to listen to experts’ advice and to follow them.

Then, meditation.

Three ways of meditation

  1. Awareness
  2. Compassion
  3. Wisdom

If you are not familiar with meditation, Rinpoche introduces several simple practices to do.

Simple Practices for those not familiar with meditation

  1. Watching your breathe
  2. Breathing in and out
  3. Scanning your body or Watching sensations

He tells us that awareness is like the sky, and our worries, thoughts and anxieties are like the clouds that come and go.
